I note that many of the reviewers love this bar because it is great for oil skin. My skin is fair and tends to dryness; this soap does not make it worse, and very gently exfoliates, which is great. Also, VL does the very best job capturing the natural lavender scent in their products – nothing artificial or “chemical” about it. One of my favorite go to gifts for my girlfriends.

This is an excellent product – my skin feels clean after using it – neither dried out nor feeling filmy like with other products. The scent is genuine lavender, the good lavender, and the soap has the perfect amount of scent. Looked a long time for a product like this and it’s definitely worth it.

I love this product. It is amazing for my skin. I have normal skin that tends to get a little shine to it throughout the day and ever since using this I notice the oil residue on my skin is minimal. The only advice I can give is to store the bar in a dry area. I keep in on the top ledge on my shower so it’s no constantly wet or else it gets this layer of what looks like gelatin. Other than that I would definitely recommend this product.
