We're moving to Central Oregon!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

After so many wonderful years in Newberg, I wanted to share some very personal news — I’ll soon be moving to Bend, Oregon. My three daughters now live there, and as any parent knows, being close to family becomes more precious with time. It feels like the right moment to begin this next chapter surrounded by the people and place I love.

This move also brings a long-held dream to life. When we purchased Tumalo Lavender Farm, I imagined one day blending my passion for lavender and the spirit of Victoria’s Lavender in that beautiful setting. Now, that vision is coming true, and I’m excited (and a little emotional) to see it unfold as the legacy continues to unfold.

Reflecting on the past 25-plus years, my heart is full. I’m so grateful for the support from this amazing community in Newberg, for the friendships made at the Lake Oswego Farmers Market, and for the countless customers who have shared kind words and encouragement through the years. Most of all, I am profoundly thankful for my incredible staff — their hard work, talent, and devotion have been the foundation of everything we’ve built together.

Although my surroundings will change, Victoria’s Lavender will continue with the same care and commitment you’ve come to know. You’ll still find us online and at events around Central Oregon, and I’ll be sharing updates from the farm as we settle into our new home in Bend.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this journey. Your support, friendship, and love have meant more to me than I can ever express. As I pack up and begin anew, please know that my appreciation for this community — and for each of you — will always remain.

With love and gratitude,
Marilyn Thompson
